Twitter is dunking on the menu the President was served in Ahmedabad

Donald Trump is in India this week to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and, presumably, bond over their shared bigotry towards Muslims. One thing standing in the way of this political friendship, however, is that Modi is a vegetarian and has reportedly planned a number of vegetarian meals for the President, despite the fact that a source close to Trump says “I have never seen him eat a vegetable.”

Delicious vegetarian cuisine isn’t hard to come by in India, unless of course the person/president you’re trying to feed has the palate of a particularly picky American third grader. Which is probably what led to the development of this Fortune Landmark hotel menu that is being roundly criticized for the inclusion of broccoli and corn samosas.

Given that one of the most traditional fillings for samosas is potato, it’s not like the hotel needed to find a new vegetarian option, especially considering that fried potatoes are in fact a favorite of non-adventurous eaters in the White House and beyond. Clearly, this is a move to ensure the president spends his entire time in the country suffering from cruciferous farts. Guerrilla gastrointestinal sabotage!

If Trump wants one of his beloved hamburgers while in India, he’ll have to take it up with Modi, who has tried to ban the sale of beef.
