Actually, It’s Dr. Phil’s Son Who Has a Dining Room Wall Decorated With Assault Rifles

The nightmare before the open house: Dr. Phil’s family is selling a Tim Burton-esque villa, complete with wild dining quarters
Close your eyes and picture the kind of house that TV’s Dr. Phil would own — something big and beige all over? Now direct your eyeballs to the unhinged treasure that is this Beverly Hills mansion currently on the market for $5.75 million, which the LA Times reports is owned by the unlicensed psychologist otherwise known as Phillip McGraw. We’re talking 6,170 square feet of antler-backed bar stools, a dining room wall adorned with guns, and menacing-looking animal figurines:

The five-bedroom villa’s deceptively vanilla exterior — clay tile roof, yellow walls, nice pool — belies an interior that looks like a combination of Las Vegas bachelor pad, contemporary pop art, and, as one person tweeted, the kind of place where a billionaire would hunt people for sport.
But the “doctor” himself likely isn’t to blame for the batshit — sorry, eccentric — decor. The Times reports that Dr. Phil bought the property in 2007 (through his family trust, CNN reports), “and it’s currently being used by a family member” — presumably his son Jordan McGraw, a musician who (at least in 2015) was living in the mansion with his bandmates, and who described his mansion as “Tim Burton threw up on a canvas and it turned into a house.”
The listing for the home notes that the “electric finishes [...] can be kept or transformed into your own vision,” although it’s hard to imagine how any prospective buyer wouldn’t want to eat dinner while staring at toddler-sized Japanese Bearbrick dolls and a wall full of assault rifles (a Dr. Phil show spokesperson told CNN that the firearms are actually an anti-gun art installation, in which the useless guns are melted).
As for making fun of Dr. Phil ’s actual taste in interior design, you’ll never catch him, ain’t nobody gonna catch him. Because he’s too streetwise? Yup. And all these hoes laughing like something’s funny.
