Eater’s Looking for the Best Young Restaurant Talent. Will You Help Us Find Them?
Nominate the inspiring young restaurant professionals in the country for the Eater Young Guns Class of 2020
In 2019, Eater singled out 12 extraordinary rising stars from the food and restaurant world. There were dinners in their honor — and profiles, too. We’ve shared their favorite products, playlists, and life hacks. Eater hosted its first-ever day-long summit, with panels and workshops dedicated to the concerns of young people in hospitality. And it’s time to do it all again.
As of right now, nominations are open for the Eater Young Guns class of 2020.
We want to hear from you: Who are the most inspiring young chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers, managers, and hospitality professionals in the country?
More than just promising young talents, these are the makers and doers we want to see leading the restaurant industry, with a sureness of purpose and an utterly unique point of view. These talented individuals deserve attention for the work they’re putting in and the values they uphold as they do it. Of course, there’s some fine print, too. To be eligible, nominees must be based in the United States and under the age of 30 — or with fewer than five years of experience in the hospitality industry — as of January 15, 2020. Nominations will close at 3 p.m. EST on January 17, 2020.
